Thanks for your contact with PlayStation Support regarding your Sony Entertainment Network (SEN) account.
We have investigated the case you raised with us, and we can see that your payment method has been rejected by your bank or card issuer. Unfortunately, we are never given the reason for the bank’s refusal. Common reasons include incorrect expiry date or address, however you will need to contact your bank for further information.
Our system limits the number of times any account holder can top up their account within a period of time, in order to prevent fraud. As the details of these checks are confidential we’re unable to provide exact details of these checks. These checks have now temporarily blocked any further top up attempts using bank cards for your account. As this temporary block is part of our security checks we’re unable to manually remove it and therefore recommend you wait for 24 hours before making any further attempts on any SEN account.
If you wish to add funds to your account as soon as possible, we recommend you purchase PSN Cards which are available through many major game retailers. These can be redeemed on your account to fund your wallet.
