Hey PSVR Reddit community!
Just a quick run-down of the terms and fixes I've been reading on since getting mine.
Mura effect - this is the black / green carpet effect that seems to move with the headset and is really noticeable in dark games and shadow. This is known in other forms of VR 2.0 (Rift and Vive) and may just be an issue that could improve with software updates - FIX: turn down brightness of display so some of it crushes into the dark OLED screen.
LOW RES 480p - some are reporting this in menu screens and on their headset. It looks like a low-res issue and not just a blur issue or poor aliasing. FIX: set your screen output to 1080p, some report that the ps4 is auto setting it to 480 output to the vr unit. Report back if this fixes this issue please.
Blur all over - just like it says there are some reporting just general blurry screens everywhere, but most prominent reading text. FIX: wipe lens, clean glasses, set pupillary distance in options using camera (hopefully we will get a slider soon so we can play around with the settings easier).
Blur at edges only - if you look to the far left or right you notice the edge is blurry, this is an effect of the lens and is suppose to not be a problem as it is in peripheral vision. However, the sweet spot of focus seems more narrow and this bothers some people more. This is more pronounced for those with astigmatism. I have this on my left eye and even with glasses it is very hard to read text no matter what I do. FIX: try different glasses, set pupillary distance, make sure to wipe off edge as this becomes fogged up and makes it worse.
Fixed pixel or group of pixels: This can be an HDMI cable (try not using the extension or switching out), sometimes people just need to reboot the whole system, or if it is a single dead pixel then rebooting might not help. This is too early to have a dead pixel unless it is a factory defect. Contact Sony.
Red or Brown blotch: Some are reporting burned in areas on a focal area of the VR lens. This is most likely due to leaving VR out in direct sunlight coming through a window - these lenses magnify and focus the light, which can work if sunlight gets in from the viewing direction. This requires replacement. Keep the helmets in the shade or in the box when not in use!
Aliasing textures at distance: This is worst in Driveclub VR. I think its just poor sampling and aliasing by the developers. I say that because the near objects, such as the dashboard and steering wheel are often at a much higher definition and fidelity than the external views. This will most likely improve with future games and the PS4 Pro, which will allow super sampling and higher AA for most games.
Please reply if this was in any way helpful.
Thanks Reddit!

Rocket League kunne jeg nu godt se for mig. VR giver en helt anden mulighed for at danne sig overblik, og RL har klare farver og en kæmpe bold.
